Chelsea is reportedly prepared to part ways with midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall during the upcoming January transfer window.
Dewsbury-Hall joined Chelsea for £30 million just a few months ago during the summer transfer window but has yet to make a significant impact on the first team.
The midfielder followed manager Enzo Maresca to Chelsea after an impressive season at Leicester City. However, the 26-year-old has not started a single Premier League match since his move to the Blues.
So far, he has only made five substitute appearances, totaling 55 minutes of playing time under Maresca’s management.
According to Football Insider, his lack of opportunities has led Dewsbury-Hall to question his future at Chelsea. The report suggests that the player is keen on securing a move in January to a club where he can get regular game time. Chelsea is said to be open to allowing him to leave Stamford Bridge.
Manager Maresca has emphasized the importance of considering Dewsbury-Hall’s situation, acknowledging the player’s need for more playing time.
